Colorado West Firearms Institute is a professional training firm located in Western Colorado - We will travel to your location as well!  We offer training programs and products during the weekdays and on weekends to meet the demanding schedules of our clients.

We offer a broad spectrum of firearms training, personal protection training, business and place of worship security training, and related products.  We offer both NRA and non-NRA training courses to meet the needs of the beginner as well as those seeking advanced strategies in personal protection and self-defense. Our tagline is to help with preparation so that you develop confidence. Simply stated "preparation equals confidence"

The Colorado Concealed Carry Course (CCW/CHP) that we instruct is the Tall Guns, LLC Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit Program that we have licensed.  This program has been attended by thousands of citizens across the state of Colorado and is well recognized as the "Best of Breed" program.  Tall Guns, LLC has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars developing and maintaining the quality, validity of the content and value of this Concealed Handgun Permit program. 

We are also Certified NRA Instructors and Range Safety Officers in multiple disciplines including pistol, rifle, shotgun, personal protection in the home and home firearm safety.
